Our Review: FindLaw is another great place to find everything that you need for your bankruptcy. They offer so many different lawyers across the United States that you’re sure to find a qualified one near you. Their website is easy to use, as well, and the support section can solve your issues, if you have any, really fast.
User Review: The internet as a source of information is a great concept, but I’ve always been a little skeptical of using it for things like this. However, I wanted to get information about different bankruptcy lawyers that I could hire before I just called the first one I found in the yellow pages, so I gave it a shot. I’m glad I did, because it turned out to be a great result.

Top Three Reasons NOT to File Bankruptcy:

There are many advantages to the grueling process of bankruptcy filing. However, it's also important that you know your limits and whether bankruptcy is the right choice for you or not. By taking a little initiative to learn about bankruptcy, how it works, and what it can do for you, you will easily be able to make the right decision in the end. Bankruptcy can be an option for many people in many different financial situations. However, there is no guarantee that it will solve your financial problems, so you need to make sure that it is the last resort regardless of what you're going through. There are a few reasons that you SHOULDN'T file bankruptcy, simply because it's not the easy way out, as many people think. First, you shouldn't file bankruptcy if you just spent $30,000 worth of credit cards on shopping and don't want to pay your bills. A lot of people think of bankruptcy as a way to get out of paying their debts. However, it stays on your record for 7 to 10 years, and can affect your credit severely during that time. Another reason that you shouldn't file bankruptcy is if you haven't checked out your other options. There are many different companies and programs that offer debt assistance for people who haven't quite reached the point of bankruptcy yet. However, those people don't often realize that they have other options. Check out other debt relief solutions before you resort to bankruptcy. The final reason that you should not file for bankruptcy is if you cannot afford to pay the fees to complete the process. Sure, it would be nice to get it started, but if you don't have the money to pay for the attorney or the process of filing, you will simply have an open case of bankruptcy for far too long until you can afford to pay. Just wait it out and see what you can do to get the money. If you have checked out the other options, and are certain that bankruptcy is your only alternative, then you should proceed with caution. Find a qualified lawyer and make sure that you're able to understand the process that you're about to partake in.
